Adult Partial Care · Fair Lawn, NJ

Full-day mental health treatment. Home every evening.

Nova’s Adult Partial Care program gives adults structured treatment five days a week, five to six hours a day: group and individual therapy, practical skills and psychiatric care, with everyone home each night.

  • State-licensed Adult Partial Care
  • 5 days a week, 5–6 hours a day
  • Private, separate entrance
  • Plenty of on-site parking

Is this the right level of care?

Partial Care is for adults who need more than a weekly session.

It gives you daily structure and support while you keep living at home. Adults often start Partial Care when:

  • Weekly therapy is no longer enough to keep things steady
  • Depression, anxiety or other symptoms are getting in the way of work, home or relationships
  • You are stepping down after a hospital stay or an emergency room visit
  • Medication needs closer attention from a prescriber
  • You want structure, routine and other people who understand
  • You want intensive treatment and still want to sleep in your own bed

Before you call.

Is Partial Care the same as a partial hospitalization program (PHP)?

Yes. Many people know Partial Care as partial hospitalization or PHP. It is outpatient treatment: you attend during the day at our Fair Lawn office and go home each evening.

How much time does Partial Care take?

The program runs five days a week, Monday through Friday, for five to six hours a day. Evenings and weekends are yours.

Do I need a referral?

You can call us directly. Many adults reach out on their own, and family members can call on someone’s behalf to ask about next steps.

Will my insurance cover it?

Our admissions team checks your benefits before you begin and explains what your plan covers. You can also check your insurance online.

What if I need more or less support than Partial Care?

Nova also offers an Intensive Outpatient Program, an Evening IOP for people who work or study during the day, and an Outpatient Program. Your assessment helps match you with the level that fits.
